the digital orange photo blog I like to think of myself as a tuxedo t-shirt because I want to be formal, but really I'm here to party.

I'm Mike Cunningham and this is my photo blog.

Brandon, former lead singer and teen pop icon of the band "Chili Davis" is dang good on the guitar.  You should hear him play sometime.  It's like a free ride when you still haven't paid.

I've worked with a lot of wedding videographers before, but this guy is in another league.  Ryan Southwell of Ryan Southwell Films came and shot Erin and Warren's wedding with me last Saturday.  He sent me this short video clip yesterday.  What a stud.

A day with Mike Cunningham from mike cunningham on Vimeo.

I had the chance to work with Ryan Southwell from http://ryansouthwell.com on a wedding in Newport Beach. He was kind enough to create this short promo of me in my element.

His work is killer.  Next time you need a wedding videographer, be sure and give him a call.

p.s. Back in my High School days, I memorized all 12 min of "Rapper's Delight" by The Sugarhill Gang.  Good to know I can still break it down.

Nancy:

I stumbled upon your photography blog a while back... you don't know me but after watching that video, I wish we were friends. There is much more I can say about that.

You do great work and I am inspired (just diving into the photography world myself) every time I stop in to see your latest work.

These two are going to rule the streets of Mesa.  They're hotter than an Arizona burrito from Filiberto's with a side of carne asada fries.

I had some ideas I wanted to try out yesterday at Erin and Warren's wedding.  Warren loves to run and Erin loves to look hawte.  I tried to combine the two, boom.  Here's what I call "The Runaway Groom."

e-w_001.jpgIn case you missed this glorious event, here's a sneak peek at how insanely beautiful Erin was yesterday.  We snapped this one in about two minutes while we waited for the Balboa Island Ferry.

e-w_002.jpgThis last image goes out to all the radness present at the reception.  Hands down one of the funnest receptions I have been to in a LONG time.  I love you all.  Let's party again soon, like real soon.

I was in Utah all last week for some family matters.  While I was there, I had the chance to break away and do some work on a top secret project with Richard K. Miller.  My task was to photograph the restaurant Pantrucas in Provo Utah and document the awesome establishment founded by Ricardo and Margarita.

I kid you not when I say this food was UNREAL.  I lived in Mexico for two years, so I know good Latin food when I see it.  Believe me, this stuff was legit and I can't wait to go back.  To top it off, you'll be a better person for talking with the owners, Ricardo and Margarita.  They are incredible people and will do anything to make your visit unforgettable.

Be sure and stop in, and if you do, tell them I said hello.
