the digital orange photo blog I like to think of myself as a tuxedo t-shirt because I want to be formal, but really I'm here to party.

I'm Mike Cunningham and this is my photo blog.

My latest addition to the collection is a Nikon F3 with a 28mm F/2 lens.  Love it.  Lots.  I shot these on a very expired roll of Fuji 200 film a few weeks ago at the MOCA in LA during their "Art in The Streets" exhibit.  Enjoy.

If any of you can guess who this last person is signing a sneaker box, I will be very impressed.

Here's a few I shot on my digital rig.  I'm curious which you like better, the film shots from the previous post, or these?  Why?

Let me know what you think.

I like both. Both sets are beautiful but I have to say that the film are a bit more enchanting. Good work!

It's been a while.  A long while.  Things are going to change.  I can feel it in my loins.

I recently traveled to London and Paris armed with my Yashica and plenty of film.  Great time.  I'd eat a Croque Monsieur everyday if I could sans muffintop-ness.  Here are some of my favorites I shot on film.

Yashica Mat 124g
Kodak 160VC
Enjoy, planet Internet.

The seventh image is my Mother at the Tower of London and will probably be one of my most cherished images of her for the years to come.  Family, they're the good kind.

I like these better than the digital but I'm not sure why. These have a...gritty?...quality to them that I love. It's not gritty. That's not the right word. I just really love these images. I went to Paris for the first time in April and I wish I had pictures like this. Mine are so lame.

What a joyous little city this is.  Also not a bad place to get a Ph.D. - even if you are only 26 years old.  Holy crap Meredith....I'm still blown away at your accomplishments.  I can't wait until you're famous and then I can tell people I know you.

You're probably wondering what happened to Day 2.  Well, I didn't forget it or forget how to count.  I'll be saving the Day 2 post until I get home.  You'll understand why once you see it :)

Today, however, was nothing short of incredible.  The skies cleared and we had a bluebird day in the chopper.  We skied about 24,000 vertical feet of terrain in 6 runs.  It was the kind of day you dream about (or I dream about).  I don't want it to end.

Here's a shot of me and the end of the day taken on my point and shoot Canon Powershot.
