the digital orange photo blog I like to think of myself as a tuxedo t-shirt because I want to be formal, but really I'm here to party.

I had some ideas I wanted to try out yesterday at Erin and Warren's wedding.  Warren loves to run and Erin loves to look hawte.  I tried to combine the two, boom.  Here's what I call "The Runaway Groom."

e-w_001.jpgIn case you missed this glorious event, here's a sneak peek at how insanely beautiful Erin was yesterday.  We snapped this one in about two minutes while we waited for the Balboa Island Ferry.

e-w_002.jpgThis last image goes out to all the radness present at the reception.  Hands down one of the funnest receptions I have been to in a LONG time.  I love you all.  Let's party again soon, like real soon.

e-w_005.jpgiSpy Mike D, Shannon F D, Sugar, Dustin & Kaitlyn, Beckster one-niner, Jon & Jill, Pearson & Kate, A $cott, Mini, Maeve, Melmor86, WeeeeeeeeeMan, and Aubs.  Did I miss anyone???

Remember Kyle and Rylie?  They're kind of a big deal.  The peeps over at Shade Clothing think so too, click here to see what I mean

Well, these two are just happy as can be.  Their wedding day was super chill, super fun, and super memorable - just the way it should be.  I'm glad I was invited.

Here's a quick preview of Meredith and Tanner's wedding today.  It was a good good time.  This was the last shot we took before we left around 5:15pm.

To all you photogs out there, the image is straight out of the camera.  35mm lens, 1/40 second shutter, f/1.8, and one flash fired off-camera.  Me love mixed light long time.  Enjoy.

I'm leaving town tomorrow for UT to be with family for Christmas.  I plan on strategically allocating my time between the couch and the ski resorts - I CANNOT WAIT!  And maybe a brief stop at Cafe Rio to refuel.

But......I wanted to post a few quick images from Kyle and Rylie's awesome wedding before I leave.  Jess and I shot this one on Saturday and it was super rad.  Any bride that rocks COWBOY BOOTS with her dress is a winner in my book.

As I look back on 2009, it has been a great year.  A lot has happened and I've seen my business grow like I never expected.  I truly have been blessed with some amazing clients who have trusted their most precious moments to me and my lens.  I thank you all for your support and checking in from time to time.  I have the greatest job in the world and I'm looking forward anxiously to 2010.

If any of you happen to be riding Park City before and after Christmas, hollar at me.  I'll be there making it rain with my snow-sliding-shredstick device.  I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Brandon and Coco were a dream to work with.  There were one of the happiest couples I've ever seen. Here are some of my favorite shots:

Also, big thanks to Bethany Murphy for coming along as my second shooter.  Be sure and check out her work, she's rad.
